Winds of Change
Winds of change,
Lift the carpet
Take me far,
Take me away
To my home,
That heavenly place
For I am alone,
Castaway
Drop me there,
In my mother’s lap
Where I rocked,
Until, yesterday
Blow this way,
Lift me up
Take me away,
On a holiday
Take me to life,
Bring me love,
Filled with memories,
Of my heyday
And when I am done,
And back to life
Throw me back,
Into this desert,
Near another mirage,
Faraway
